I visited my first ever figure competition over the weekend, and what an experience it was! Reminded me a little of Cheerleading competitions especially with all the fake tan & make up- I LOVED it!

Counting calories, is an easy way to trick yourself into thinking you are eating healthy and losing weight. However this could be doing more harm than good...
Imagine your body as a car, and food as the petrol - taking a lower intake of calories is a quick fix to loose weight, and over time you will find you are taking in less that you are putting out. Also Calories disregard what types of nutrients you are taking in. There are three major macro nutrients that the human body needs in order to function properly; Carbohydrates, Protein and Fats..... YES FATS!
